A love letter to the WordPress® community, built for WordCamp® events worldwide.

Wapuufy is a selfie camera app built for the WordPress community. It started as a fun side project — a way to bring the beloved Wapuu mascot to life at WordCamp events around the world.

With AR mode, you can place 3D Wapuu characters in the real world and snap a selfie with them. With AI mode, your face gets transformed into a unique Wapuu character portrait — every generation is one of a kind.

The entire project is open source, creative brain coded with a lot of help from AI and the open-source community. Built on WordPress, React Native, and powered by multiple AI providers.
